Common use of Tenant’s Liability Clause in Contracts

Tenant’s Liability. Tenant shall hold Landlord free, harmless, and indemnified from any penalty, fine, claim, demand, liability, cost, or charge whatsoever which Landlord shall incur, or which Landlord would otherwise incur, by reason of Tenant's failure to comply with this Section 13.21 including, but not limited to: (i) the cost of bringing the Premises into compliance with all Laws and in a non-contaminated state, the same condition as prior to occupancy; (ii) the reasonable cost of all appropriate tests and examinations of the Premises to confirm that the Premises have been brought into compliance with all Laws; and (iii) the reasonable fees and expenses of Landlord's attorneys, engineers, and consultants incurred by Landlord in enforcing and confirming compliance with this Section 13.21.
