Temporary Transit Operator. 13.06.1 If an RFT (Regular Full time) Operator is off at least 90 days (sick or WSIB),the corporation can promote a casual operator to a Temporary Transit Operator. 13.06.2 The Temporary Transit Operator will be paid at 100% of the Transit Operator rate. 13.06.3 The temporary transit operator will not accrue vacation, sick leave or seniority and no new RFT benefits would be added (i.e. LTD, Dental) 13.06.4 The temporary transit operator will be excluded from the casual ratio while in this capacity. 13.06.5 The maximum period of time for the arrangement is 30 months. 13.06.6 If the RFT returns, the temporary transit operator returns to a casual operator position and rate of pay. 13.06.7 The Casual to RFT ratio can be over by 2 staff because of these arrangements. 13.06.8 If the temporary transit operator is appointed to a RFT position while acting as a temporary transit operator, they will be able to back date their seniority date to the start of the temporary transit operator position. While the service date is backdated, vacation accrual, sick accrual and group benefits will begin on the start date of the RFT appointment.

Upon surrender for cancellation of any one or more temporary Securities of any series, the Company shall execute and the Trustee shall authenticate and deliver in exchange therefor one or more definitive Securities of the same series, of any authorized denominations and of like tenor and aggregate principal amount. Until so exchanged, the temporary Securities of any series shall in all respects be entitled to the same benefits under this Indenture as definitive Securities of such series and tenor.

  • Temporary Layoff The Employer may temporarily layoff an employee for up to ninety (90) days due to an unanticipated loss of funding, revenue shortfall, lack of work, shortage of material or equipment, or other unexpected or unusual reasons. An employee will normally receive seven (7) days notice of a temporary layoff.
