Common use of Temporary Assignment Differential Clause in Contracts

Temporary Assignment Differential. An officer who holds state certification as a Field Training Officer, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Firearms Instructor or Emergency Vehicle Operations (EVOC) Instructor shall receive a pay differential equal to five percent (5%) of the employee’s base salary for any hours actually assigned by the Department as responsible for the training of another officer. All training in these subject areas will be conducted by State-certified individuals.
