Teacher Self-Directed Evaluation Program. 1. The Teacher Self-Directed Evaluation (TSDE) program has been in effect commencing September 2001. 2. Teachers may volunteer to participate in place of the standard, contractual method of observation. Choice of model or project is voluntary. 3. The teacher may withdraw from TSDE at any time and return to the standard method of observation/evaluation. 4. A teacher shall not be held responsible if his or her model or project is unsuccessful. 5. Any tenured teacher may participate in TSDE. 6. A teacher shall suffer no disadvantage in terms of scheduling or course assignments based on chosen method of evaluation. 7. During the time of participation in TSDE, the teacher will be protected with all the rights now afforded under Article XVI.
