Tapers. Tapers shall be manufactured out of steel plates and lined internally and coated externally as specified for pipes. The tapers shall be suitable for connections to valves or flanged tailpieces on one side and to the MS pipe on the other side. They shall be manufactured generally in accordance with IS 7322.
