Common use of Tamper Evident Protection Clause in Contracts

Tamper Evident Protection. To the extent that Supplier ships new Product in its final Customer ready form, Supplier shall apply tamper evident protection on the finished Product packaging in the form of an “IBM” logo tape in such a manner that if removed or tampered with, it would be evident that the finished Product packaging has been opened. Supplier will have controls to prevent unauthorized use or dissemination of “IBM” logo tape (including tracking the purchase, internal use, application, and destruction), and to limit access to such materials to only those responsible for the tamper evident sealing on the Products.
