Talent – Selection and Training. The CWC Network plays a critical role in the selection and training of Licensee’s leadership at multiple levels including the following: • Recruits and “onboards” Licensee’s founding board members and supports recruitment and onboarding of new board members. • Ensures board members are mission-aligned, and provides education about the mission, vision and theory of action of the CWC Network as well the fiduciary responsibilities of serving on the board. • Assesses regional landscape for talent pipelines and builds relationships as needed with potential talent networks to attract exceptional leaders to the Schools. • Executive Director and Principal Selection: Designs and project manages principal and Executive Director selection processes, in collaboration with regional leadership, to ensure hiring of School leaders committed to and capable of leading a CWC school in alignment with the CWC Network’s mission o This process will include multiple measures, including written application, simulation exercises, role-playing, multiple interviews. • Executive Director and Principal Onboarding: Provides training and coaching to immerse incoming and new principals and Executive Directors in the CWC Network’s model and to ensure s/he is prepared to lead a CWC school, which includes sharing and developing key resources and templates, co-planning, and sharing feedback.
