System Algorithm Development. The main algorithm work of the SUBITO project was split into two areas, image analysis and threat assessment, see Figure 2-5. Within the SUBITO contexts, three types of image analysis algorithms were addressed: object detection, object tracking and object classification. The threat assessment algorithms were split into the areas of observe & analyse and threat classification, these will be discussed later. a) b) The following sections provide discussion on the work carried out in each of the algorithm development areas.
