Common use of Switching Scheme Clause in Contracts

Switching Scheme. The switching schemes, as mentioned below, shall be adopted at various voltage levels of substation/switchyard: Substation 765 kV side (Future) 400 kV side 220 kV side (Future) 400 kV Bornagar (ISTS) S/s One and Half breaker One and Half breaker Double Main and Transfer i) At 400 kV voltage level, any double circuit line consisting of two numbers of feeders and originating from a transmission or generating switchyard shall not be terminated in one diameter. ii) Two bus reactors of the same HV rating shall also not be connected in the same diameter. iii) A diameter in one and half breaker scheme is a set of 3 circuit breakers with associated isolators, earth switches, current transformers etc. for controlling 2 (two) numbers of feeders. iv) TSP shall plan distribution of line and transformer feeders to bus bar in such a way that all power can be evacuated successfully without crossing the thermal limit at any point of bus bar. v) Connection arrangement of Switchable Line reactors shall be such that it can be used as Line reactor as well as Bus reactor with suitable NGR bypass arrangement.
