The Sustainability Workshop clause establishes the requirement for parties to participate in a collaborative session focused on identifying and implementing sustainable practices within the scope of their agreement. Typically, this involves organizing a meeting or series of meetings where stakeholders discuss environmental impacts, resource efficiency, and opportunities for reducing the ecological footprint of their activities or deliverables. Sustainability Workshop. Participate with Project Manager, district staff, and any other consultants designated by Project Manager in the conduct of an approximate, not to exceed, eight hour Sustainability Workshop. Participate, and arrange for the participation of Subconsultants in the Sustainability Workshop Prepare and submit to Project Manager for District’s approval comparative cost studies of proposed major building systems recommended from the Sustainability Workshop. Design Development: Provide technical criteria, written descriptions and design data for District’s use in filing applications for permits with or obtaining approvals of such governmental authorities as have jurisdiction to approve the design of the Project, and assist District in consultations with appropriate authorities. Work with District staff and Furniture, Fixture, and Equipment (FF&E) consultants and suppliers to the District to develop a Comprehensive Interior Design Package for submittal to the District. The CID package should include a list of FF&E that will be reused as Owner Provided and a list of FF&E that will need to be procured by the District. CID development and design, including construction documents, shall ensure the FF&E provided or procured will fit and interface with all structural, mechanical, telecommunication/data, and electrical systems without conflict or rework. Prepare for review and approval by District, its legal counsel and other advisors, Supplementary Conditions to the construction contract, and (where appropriate) additional bidding requirements for inclusion in existing bid forms, invitations to bid and instructions to bidders, and assist in the preparation of other related documents. Make full written disclosure to District, and obtain District’s express written approval of: Any provisions in the final drawings and specifications that operate to shift design responsibilities from Architect‐Engineer to Contractor, through performance specifications or any other means or methods; Any proposed innovative, unique, proprietary or sole source design features. Work Phasing Recommendations: Prepare recommendations for phasing of the construction work to minimize disruptions and interferences with District’s operations and any concurrently proceeding construction activities. Sustainability Workshop. The Construction Manager shall attend a Sustainability Workshop conducted by the Architect with the Owner and, as requested by the Architect, with the Owner’s consultants, the Architect’s consultants and the Construction Manager’s consultants, during which the participants will: review and discuss potential Sustainability Certifications; establish the Sustainable Objective; discuss potential Sustainable Measures to be targeted; examine strategies for implementation of the Sustainable Measures; and discuss the potential impact of the Sustainable Measures on the Project schedule and the Owner’s program and budget.
Sustainability Workshop. Prior to the conclusion of Preliminary Design, the Architect shall conduct a Sustainability Workshop with the Owner and Design-Builder, and to the extent necessary, with the Owner’s consultants and separate contractors and the Design-Builder’s consultants and contractors, during which the participants will: (1) review and discuss potential Sustainability Certifications; (2) establish the Sustainable Objective; (3) discuss potential Sustainable Measures to be targeted; (4) examine strategies for implementation of the Sustainable Measures; and (5) discuss the potential impact of the Sustainable Measures on the Initial Information set forth in Article 1. § 3.5.2
Sustainability Workshop. 3.1 As soon as practicable, but not later than the conclusion of thePrior to commencement of Schematic Design Phase Services, the Architect shall conduct a Sustainability Workshop with the Owner, the Owner’s consultants (including Owner’s commissioning agent), and the Architect’s consultants, during which the participants will: review publicly available energy benchmarking information for buildings with the same principal activities in the same climate as the Project; review and discuss potential Sustainability Certifications; review applicable Building Performance Standard; review the requirements for Building Performance Compliance; establish the Sustainable Objective; establish the Compliance Period; establish the Owner’s project requirements and energy performance goals; discuss the potential Building Performance Target; discuss potential Sustainable Measures; review and discuss modifications to specifications governing general requirements, substitutions, commissioning, mechanical and electrical installations, and other energy performance requirements; examine strategies for implementation of the Sustainable Measures including strategies for achievement of the Building Performance Target during the Compliance Period; reconcile conflicts between the Sustainability Certifications and the requirements for Building Performance Compliance; and discuss the potential impact of the Sustainable Measures, the Building Performance Target, Energy Modeling, and commissioning of the Project on the Project schedule, the Owner’s program, and the Owner’s budget for the Cost of the Work.

  • Sustainability (12 /18) Pursuant to the City’s Sustainable City Principles, which direct City Bureaus to pursue long-term social equity, environmental quality, and economic vitality through innovative and traditional mechanisms, Contractor is encouraged to incorporate these Principles into its scope of work with the City wherever possible. Therefore, in accordance with the Principles and the City's Sustainable Procurement Policy, it is the policy of the City of Portland to encourage the use of Products or Services that help to minimize the human health and environmental impacts of City operations. Contractor is encouraged to incorporate environmentally preferable Products or Services into its work performance wherever possible. "Environmentally preferable" means Products or Services that have a lesser or reduced effect on human health and the environment when compared with competing products or services that serve the same purpose. This comparison may consider raw materials acquisition, production, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, reuse, operation, maintenance, or disposal of the Product or Service.

  • Infrastructure Vulnerability Scanning Supplier will scan its internal environments (e.g., servers, network devices, etc.) related to Deliverables monthly and external environments related to Deliverables weekly. Supplier will have a defined process to address any findings but will ensure that any high-risk vulnerabilities are addressed within 30 days.

  • Vulnerability Management BNY Mellon will maintain a documented process to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities affecting its systems used to provide the services. BNY Mellon will classify security vulnerabilities using industry recognized standards and conduct continuous monitoring and testing of its networks, hardware and software including regular penetration testing and ethical hack assessments. BNY Mellon will remediate identified security vulnerabilities in accordance with its process.

  • Supplier Development lf the Buyer identifies problems in supplier performance based on supplier monitoring, he shall initiate improvement measures at the Supplier. The Buyer shall pursue the possibilities of continuous improvement of the Supplier. The supplier audit is a form of supplier development; the exchange of information and experience between the Buyer and the Supplier also serves this purpose.
