Surviving dependants. 1 Those qualifying for a death benefit as referred to in the first paragraph of Article 9.7 are, in descending order: a the widow or widower, or partner, from whom the deceased was not living permanently apart; b the minor children of the deceased; c the adult children, parents, brothers or sisters who were wholly or largely dependent on the salary of the employee for their upkeep.
