SURFACE PROTECTION. Lessee shall prevent damage to and contamination of the surface of the leased premises and any of Lessor’s adjoining lands, from salt water or other noxious, deleterious or contaminating substances flowing over or leaking or seeping onto , or penetrating the leased premises because of Lessee’s operations. Any overflows or releases affecting the leased premises, including, but not limited to, salt water, mud, chemical, or oil shall be reported immediately to Lessor.

SURFACE PROTECTION. While performing road maintenance work, avoid fouling gravel or asphalt surfaces with earth or debris from side ditches, slides or other sources. Purchaser shall avoid blading surfacing course off road.
SURFACE PROTECTION. The equipment called for herein shall be factory finished and painted in accordance with the attached surface preparation and painting specifications. Painting and factory finish shall also be suitable for indoor installation, and for exposure to the elements (during transportation to site).
SURFACE PROTECTION. .1 Freshly placed and consolidated concrete shall be suitably protected from the elements and from defacement due to operations, traffic and vandals. Protect against effects of direct sun, drying winds, cold, excessive heat and running water. Concrete shall be protected by use of adequate tarpaulins or other material approved by Departmental Representative.
SURFACE PROTECTION. All exposed steelwork will be protected against corrosion by either hot dipped galvanizing or painting. Vendor supplied items will be protected as per vendor standards for corrosive atmosphere.
SURFACE PROTECTION. This inspection, as detailed in the applicable tier 3 procedures, includes the inspection of surfaces prior to and after application of the paint or other protective coat. After preparation and prior to painting, the surfaces shall be clean and free from weld spatter, foreign material, oil and grease and otherwise compatible with applicable paint. The paint thickness per layer shall be checked by the Supplier where critical and the drying / curing time confirmed to meet the specified requirements. On completion the final total dry-film-thickness (DFT) shall be checked.

  • Eye Protection Approved eye protection shall be supplied to individual prescription to all employees who normally wear glasses and are required to wear eye protection for an appreciable amount of time in the performance of their duties.

  • Fire Protection Contractor shall take adequate and reasonable precautions to protect the Work against damage by fire and smoke. For example, without limitation, Contractor shall do the following:

  • Income Protection All workers will be covered by the extended Incolink Leisure Time Insurance and Income protection Scheme which provides defined weekly payments ($500 per week to workers with dependants, $400 per week to workers without dependants) for up to a maximum 104 weeks in the event of an extended work absence arising from any personal illness or injury (whether or not work related). The costs of this benefit will be shared between Incolink and the company on a 30/70 basis. Agreed premium costs will be: Incolink - $2.10 per week/worker Employer - $4.90 per week/worker It is a condition of the company’s agreement to provide this benefit that premium costs be maintained at not more than the February 1998 equivalent. In the event of premium costs escalating, the parties are agreed that the benefits table will be revised downwards so as to contain premium costs within the agreed limits. To maintain this cover the company agrees to pay the amounts every week for each employee. In the event the company does not maintain the above policy, the company will be liable in full to pay equivalent benefits to an employee who meets eligibility criteria as set out in the policy document.

  • Whistle Blowing Protection The Employer agrees to adhere to the whistle blowing protection pursuant to the Long-Term Care Homes Act (LTCHA).

  • INSURANCE PROTECTION Insurance protection for employees travelling on work related business is provided in accordance with the DHB’s insurance policy. The provisions of the insurance policy are available through the Human Resources department.

  • Virus Protection The Bank is not responsible for any electronic virus or viruses that you may encounter. We suggest that you routinely scan your PC using a virus protection product. An undetected virus may corrupt and destroy your programs, files, and your hardware.

  • System Protection To prevent compromise of systems which contain DSHS Data or through which that Data passes:

  • PICKET LINE PROTECTION 1. All employees covered under this Agreement have the right to refuse to cross or work behind a picket line unless same is declared illegal by the Labour Relations Board.

The Provider shall ensure that all prices, terms, and warranties included in this Agreement are comparable to, or better than, the equivalent terms being offered by the Provider to any present customer meeting the same qualifications or requirements as the Department. If, during the term of this Agreement, the Provider enters into agreement(s) that provide more favorable terms to other comparable customer(s), the Provider shall provide the same terms to the Department.

  • Hearing Protection Hearing protection devices that reduce noise exposure below 90 dba shall be worn in all posted high noise areas, when performing work that generates noise above 90 dba, or when required by CCI Management.
