Support for Secretarial Determination. The Secretary, in cooperation with the Secretary of Commerce and other Federal agencies as appropriate, will: (i) use existing studies and other appropriate data, including those in the FERC record for this project, including but not limited to environmental impact studies, EPAct proceedings, and other pertinent material; (ii) conduct further appropriate studies, including but not limited to an analysis of sediment content and quantity; (iii) undertake related environmental compliance actions, including environmental review under NEPA; and (iv) take other appropriate actions as necessary to determine whether to proceed with Facilities Removal pursuant to Section 3.3.
