SUPPORT Act Compliance. In accordance with the federal Substance Use Disorder Prevention That Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act, the Contractor shall implement and maintain the following processes and standards by October 1, 2019:

SUPPORT Act Compliance. In accordance with the federal Substance Use Disorder Prevention That Promotes Opioid EXHIBIT 2.I SCOPE OF WORK – HEALTHY INDIANA PLAN Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act, the Contractor shall implement and maintain the following processes and standards by October 1, 2019:
SUPPORT Act Compliance. In accordance with the federal Substance Use Disorder Prevention That Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities (SUPPORT) Act, the Contractor shall implement and maintain the following processes and standards by October 1, 2019:  Safety edits and claims review automated process for the State-approved maximum daily morphine limitation  Safety edits and claims review automated process for the State-approved maximum daily morphine equivalent for treatment of chronic pain  Claims review automated process that monitors when a client is concurrently prescribed opioids and benzodiazepines, or is concurrently prescribed opioids and antipsychotics  Program to monitor and manage the appropriate use of antipsychotic medications by Medicaid children  Process that identifies potential fraud or abuse of controlled substances by Medicaid clients, enrolled prescribers, and enrolled dispensing pharmacies
SUPPORT Act Compliance. The Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment (SUPPORT) Act, requires that behavioral health services, including mental health treatment, substance use disorder treatment, and interventions for developmental delays be made available to Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). In accordance with section 5022(d) of the Act, the PIHP must assure that age appropriate, validated screening tools are used to identify behavioral health needs for individuals ages 0-18 in primary care settings. Validated screening tools for children can be found at xxxxx://xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/star- center/#/screening-tools and xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/BrowseRec/Index. The PIHP must assure that screenings are conducted according to the most recently published AAP/Bright Futures periodicity schedule: xxxxx://xxxxxxxxx.xxx.xxx/AAP/PDF/periodicity_schedule.pdf. On an annual basis, the PIHP must report to the Department the specific tools and/or protocols used by their primary care providers when screening children for the following behavioral health areas:

  • Single Audit Act Compliance If the Contractor is a subrecipient and expends $750,000 or more in federal awards from any and/or all sources in any fiscal year, the Contractor shall procure and pay for a single audit or a program-specific audit for that fiscal year. Upon completion of each audit, the Contractor shall:

  • Child Support Compliance Act If the Contract Amount is $100,000 or more, this section is applicable. Contractor recognizes the importance of child and family support obligations and fully complies with (and will continue to comply with during the Term) all applicable state and federal laws relating to child and family support enforcement, including disclosure of information and compliance with earnings assignment orders, as provided in Family Code section 5200 et seq. Contractor provides the names of all new employees to the New Hire Registry maintained by the California Employment Development Department.

  • Export Compliance The Services, Content, other technology We make available, and derivatives thereof may be subject to export laws and regulations of the United States and other jurisdictions. Each party represents that it is not named on any U.S. government denied-party list. You shall not permit Users to access or use any Service or Content in a U.S.-embargoed country (currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan or Syria) or in violation of any U.S. export law or regulation.

  • Patriot Act Compliance In order for it to comply with its duties under the U.S.A. Patriot Act, the Trustee may obtain and verify certain information from the other parties hereto, including but not limited to such parties' name, address and other identifying information.

  • HIPAA Compliance If this Contract involves services, activities or products subject to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), the Contractor covenants that it will appropriately safeguard Protected Health Information (defined in 45 CFR 160.103), and agrees that it is subject to, and shall comply with, the provisions of 45 CFR 164 Subpart E regarding use and disclosure of Protected Health Information.

  • Contract Compliance The participating state agency and/or political subdivision that utilize this State Term Schedule will be responsible for the administration of the Contract and will monitor the Contractor's performance and compliance with the terms, conditions and specifications of the Contract. If an agency observes any infraction(s), such shall be documented and conveyed to the Contractor for immediate correction. If the Contractor fails to rectify the infraction(s), the agency will notify the State through the Department of Administrative Services, Office of Procurement Services, by executing a Complaint to Vendor (CTV) to help resolve the infraction(s). The State will apply the terms and conditions of the Termination provision of this Contract to resolve the infractions(s).
