Summer Session Schedule and Appointment. The University will guarantee certain courses that meet University and/or programmatic needs and demand. At least 75% of a School or College’s offerings will be guaranteed. Faculty members scheduled to teach guaranteed courses will be guaranteed employment in the summer. Should a guaranteed course be cancelled, a faculty member may choose either to be reassigned to other service or accept a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the summer salary associated with that course. Reassignment tasks for faculty are determined by the ▇▇▇▇ and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and will include an estimate of the time commitment.
