Common use of Successor Indenture Trustee by Merger Clause in Contracts

Successor Indenture Trustee by Merger. (a) If the Indenture Trustee consolidates with, merges or converts into, or transfers all or substantially all of its corporate trust business or assets to, another Person, the resulting, surviving or transferee Person will be the successor Indenture Trustee so long as such Person is otherwise qualified and eligible under Section 6.11. The Indenture Trustee will promptly notify the Servicer and the Issuer (who will notify the Rating Agencies) of any such transaction.
