Substitution Rates. When maintenance employees substitute for other hourly-rated employees in a higher classification for a full 8-hour shift or more in a two-week pay period, they shall receive the wage rate at the corre- sponding step in the higher wage group (e.g. 4-month rate to 4- month rate, maximum to maximum, etc.), or 15¢/hour whichever is greater retroactive to the first day of substitution, for hours worked at the higher classification. When non-supervisory employees, other than Lead Hands in an Operating Garage or Carhouse, substitute temporarily for a supervi- sory employee at a higher rate for a full 8-hour shift or more in a two-week pay period, they shall receive an allowance of 32¢ per hour for the period of substitution for each hour so worked, retroac- tive to the first day of substitution. When any maintenance employee including Lead Hand substitutes during a Supervisor’s vacation or during an extended absence of one week or more, then the substituting employee shall take the off days of the Supervisor, if required, and shall receive an allowance of 32¢ per hour for the period of substitution for each hour so worked, ef- fective from the date of substitution. Either of the latter two allowances shall be paid in addition to any premium pay the hourly-rated substituting employee would normally receive on the days worked as a substitute Supervisor.

  • Contribution Rates (a) The Employer's contribution rate to the pension fund shall be as per paragraph (b) below. The Employer shall also deduct from each employee's gross monthly earnings three percent (3%) and remit that amount together with the Employer's required contribution on behalf of each employee to the pension fund in the years 2016/2017/2018/2019/2020/2021.

  • Substitution of Key Personnel Consultant has represented to City that certain key personnel will perform and coordinate the Services under this Agreement. Should one or more of such personnel become unavailable, Consultant may substitute other personnel of at least equal competence upon written approval of City. In the event that City and Consultant cannot agree as to the substitution of key personnel, City shall be entitled to terminate this Agreement for cause. As discussed below, any personnel who fail or refuse to perform the Services in a manner acceptable to the City, or who are determined by the City to be uncooperative, incompetent, a threat to the adequate or timely completion of the Project or a threat to the safety of persons or property, shall be promptly removed from the Project by the Consultant at the request of the City.   • Substitution Pay Where an employee is directed by the Employer to perform the principal duties in a higher paying position within the bargaining unit, she shall receive the rate for the job in the case of a single rate classification. If a salary range is established, she shall receive the minimum rate of the new salary range or the rate in the new salary range which is the closest step to eight percent (8%) above her current rate, whichever is greater, but not more than the top of the new salary range.

  • WAGE RATES AND CLASSIFICATIONS Classifications and the hourly wage rates applicable thereto are contained in the Appendices attached to and forming part of this Agreement.

  • Non-Student Rates The Residence Fees payable under this Agreement are a special student rate for full-time students of the Institution. If the Resident ceases to be a full-time student of the Institution, and wishes to continue to occupy a Room: (i) the Resident must deliver a written request to the Manager no later than two (2) business days after ceasing to be a full-time student of the Institution, which the Manager may accept or reject in its sole and unfettered discretion, and (ii) if the request is accepted by the Manager, the Resident must pay within two (2) business days of receiving notice of that acceptance (a) any unpaid Residence Fees (whether or not otherwise due) and (b) a supplementary fee equal to the difference between (1) the product of the number of days remaining in the Term as of two (2) business days after the date on which the Resident ceases to be a full-time student of the Institution and the daily conference rate then charged by the Manager for rooms in the Residence, minus (2) the Residence Fees.

  • Accrual Rates All eligible employees shall accrue vacation pay according to the following rates:

  • Interest Rates (a) Each Base Rate Loan shall bear interest on the outstanding principal amount thereof, for each day from the date such Loan is made until it becomes due, at a rate per annum equal to the Base Rate for such day. Such interest shall be payable for each Interest Period on the last day thereof. Any overdue principal of or interest on any Base Rate Loan shall bear interest, payable on demand, for each day until paid at a rate per annum equal to the sum of 2% plus the rate otherwise applicable to Base Rate Loans for such day.

  • Overhead Rates The Engineer shall use the provisional overhead rate indicated in Attachment E. If a periodic escalation of the provisional overhead rate is specified in Attachment E, the effective date of the revised provisional overhead rate must be included. For lump sum contracts, the overhead rate remains unchanged for the entire contract period.

  • FIXED RATES If a fixed rate is in this Agreement, it is based on an estimate of the costs for the period covered by the rate. When the actual costs for this period are determined, an adjustment will be made to a rate of a future year(s) to compensate for the difference between the costs used to establish the fixed rate and actual costs.
