Substitute’s Pay. A faculty member will be paid thirty ($30) dollars for each 50-minute class hour when substituting for colleague’s absence due to an approved leave. The rate shall be prorated for classes meeting longer or shorter intervals than 50 minutes. In those cases where the same substitute faculty member assumes responsibility for the same class for a period of greater than two weeks (e.g., seven consecutive class meetings for classes scheduled to meet three times/week), the substitute shall be paid in accordance with the overload rate, retroactive to the first day of substitution, providing overload applies and the overload rate is greater than the substitute pay rate.

Substitute’s Pay. A. All substitute workers filling bargaining unit positions shall be paid 85% of the Step I rate for the position being filled. After fifteen (15) days’ service as a substitute, the substitute shall be paid at the Step I rate of the pay for the position being filled. After fifteen (15) consecutive days in the same position, the substitute shall be provided one (1) day of sick leave for each fifteen (15) days worked in the same position. Former employees who return as substitutes shall be paid at Step 3 of the position in which they are serving.

After 3 consecutive days missed of the same class, substitutes’ pay will be determined by the overload rate on a per class basis (overload rate multiplied by CHE divided by total hours class meets). If, at the end of the academic semester, an absence of 3 days or less results in a substitute having to submit final grades, then an additional stipend of $150.00 will be paid. The rate shall be prorated for classes meeting longer or shorter intervals than 50 minutes. In those cases where the same substitute faculty member assumes responsibility for the same class for a period of greater than two weeks (e.g., seven consecutive class meetings for classes scheduled to meet three times/week), the substitute shall be paid in accordance with the overload rate, retroactive to the first day of substitution, providing overload applies and the overload rate is greater than the substitute pay rate.

  • UNION DUES CHECK-OFF On a weekly basis the Employer agrees to deduct uniform dues and initiation fees from the paycheck of those covered employees whose individual written unrevoked authorizations are on file with the Employer and to transmit the amounts so deducted to the Union monthly. Said deduction authorizations shall be in such form as to conform with Section 302(c) of the Labor Management Relations Act of 1947.

  • Cash Payment The Employee shall make cash payments by wire transfer, certified or bank check or personal check, in each case payable to the order of the Company; the Company shall not be required to deliver certificates for Option Shares until the Company has confirmed the receipt of good and available funds in payment of the purchase price thereof.

  • Claims Payment The Reinsurer will be liable to the Company for its share of the benefits owed under the express contractual terms of the Reinsured Policies and as specified under the terms of this Agreement. The Reinsurer will not participate in any ex gratia payments made by the Company (i.e., payments the Company is not required to make under the Reinsured Policy terms.) The payment of death benefits by the Reinsurer will be in one lump sum regardless of the mode of settlement under the Reinsured Policy. Benefit payments from the Reinsurer will be due within 30 days of the claim satisfying the requirements established under this Agreement. The Reinsurer’s share of any interest payable under the terms of a Reinsured Policy or applicable law which is based on the death benefits paid by the Company, will be payable provided that the Reinsurer will not be liable for interest accruing on or after the date of the Company’s payment of benefits. The Reinsurer will make payment to the Company for each such claim. For Waiver of Premium claims, the Company will continue to pay premiums for reinsurance, except premiums for disability reinsurance. The Reinsurer will pay its proportionate share of the gross premium waived by the Company on the Reinsured Policy, including its share of the premiums for benefits that remain in effect during disability. For claims on Accelerated Benefit riders reinsured under this Agreement, the benefit amount payable by the Reinsurer will be calculated by multiplying the total accelerated death benefit rider payout by the ratio of the reinsured Net Amount at Risk, as defined in Exhibit C-1, to the face amount of the Reinsured Policy.

  • Fees Payment Company will pay Vendor the Fees established by each Order in accordance with this Agreement. Except as otherwise specified in the Special Conditions or an Order: (i) all payment obligations are non- cancelable and Fees paid are non-refundable; and (ii) quantities of Solutions ordered cannot be cancelled or decreased during the relevant Subscription Term.

  • PROGRESS PAYMENT 5.4.1 After receipt by the Contract Administrator of a Proper Invoice submitted by the Contractor in accordance with 5.3 – PROPER INVOICES:

  • License Contingent Upon Payment While you may exercise the rights licensed immediately upon issuance of the license at the end of the licensing process for the transaction, provided that you have disclosed complete and accurate details of your proposed use, no license is finally effective unless and until full payment is received from you (either by publisher or by CCC) as provided in CCC's Billing and Payment terms and conditions. If full payment is not received on a timely basis, then any license preliminarily granted shall be deemed automatically revoked and shall be void as if never granted. Further, in the event that you breach any of these terms and conditions or any of CCC's Billing and Payment terms and conditions, the license is automatically revoked and shall be void as if never granted. Use of materials as described in a revoked license, as well as any use of the materials beyond the scope of an unrevoked license, may constitute copyright infringement and publisher reserves the right to take any and all action to protect its copyright in the materials.

  • Invoices; Payment The City will accept invoices no more frequently than once per month. Each invoice shall fully detail the related costs and shall specify the status of the particular task or project as of the date of the invoice with regard to the accepted schedule for that task or project. Payment will be made within forty-five (45) days after receipt of an invoice acceptable to the City, in accordance with the Florida Local Government Prompt Payment Act. If, at any time during the contract, the City shall not approve or accept the Contractor's work product, and agreement cannot be reached between the City and the Contractor to resolve the problem to the City's satisfaction, the City shall negotiate with the Contractor on a payment for the work completed and usable to the City.
