Common use of SUBSIDY AND COST SHARING REDUCTIONS Clause in Contracts

SUBSIDY AND COST SHARING REDUCTIONS. During the application process, the Marketplace will determine if an individual is eligible for a Subsidy or for Cost Share Reductions. If the Marketplace notifies the HMO of a change in the Member’s eligibility for Cost sharing Reduction, the HMO will change the assignment of the Member’s Silver Plan variation to the variation that corresponds with the level, if any, of Cost Share Reduction as of the effective date required by the Marketplace. If such a change in assignment occurs mid-year, the HMO will carry over any Cost Sharing Amounts that the Member paid during the calendar year under the previous Silver Plan variation.
