Common use of Subscription Functions Clause in Contracts

Subscription Functions. In cases where AT&T performs subscription functions for an IXC (i.e., PIC and LPIC changes via Customer Account RecordExchange (CARE)), AT&Twill inall possible instances provide the affected IXCs with the OCN of the local provider for the purpose of obtaining customer billing account and other customer informationrequired under subscription requirements. 3.4.1 When Communication Lines’s customer, served by resale, changes its PIC or LPIC, and per AT&T’s FCC or state tariff the interexchange carrier elects to charge the customer the PIC or LPIC change charge, AT&Twill bill the PIC or LPIC change charge to Communication Lines, which has the billing relationship with that customer, and Communication Lines may pass such charge to the customer.
