Common use of Subscription Functions Clause in Contracts

Subscription Functions. In cases where BellSouth performs subscription functions for an IXC (i.e., PIC and LPIC changes via Customer Account Record Exchange (CARE)), BellSouth will in all possible instances provide the affected IXCs with the OCN of the local provider for the purpose of obtaining customer billing account and other customer information required under subscription requirements. 3.4.1 When ▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ customer, served by resale, changes its PIC or LPIC, and per BellSouth’s FCC or state tariff the interexchange carrier elects to charge the customer the PIC or LPIC change charge, BellSouth will bill the PIC or LPIC change charge to ▇▇▇▇▇▇, which has the billing relationship with that customer, and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ may pass such charge to the customer.
