Subcontract Services Clause Samples
The Subcontract Services clause defines the conditions under which a party may delegate certain tasks or obligations to third-party subcontractors. Typically, this clause outlines any requirements for prior approval, the standards subcontractors must meet, and the extent to which the original party remains responsible for the subcontracted work. For example, a contractor might be allowed to hire a specialist for a specific portion of a project, provided the client is notified and the subcontractor meets agreed-upon qualifications. The core function of this clause is to provide flexibility in fulfilling contractual obligations while ensuring accountability and maintaining quality standards.
