Common use of Study Hall Supervision Clause in Contracts

Study Hall Supervision. Study hall supervisor vacancies shall be filled as follows: 1. Teachers available during a given study hall period will first be offered a position and seniority in the District shall prevail. 2. Teachers on unrequested leave will be offered any remaining available positions. 3. If vacancies still remain, the District will attempt to fill these with teachers on the District's substitute teaching list. 4. The District will attempt to fill any remaining vacancies with retired Edina teachers. 5. If vacancies still exist, the District will repeat step one and provide notification to the Union. 6. Remaining vacancies will be filled at the District's discretion. Compensation will be provided as per Appendix E, Extra Duty Salary Schedule.
