Students First Clause Samples
The "Students First" clause establishes that the primary consideration in all decisions and actions under the agreement is the best interest of students. In practice, this means that any policies, procedures, or dispute resolutions must prioritize student welfare, learning outcomes, and overall educational experience. By embedding this principle, the clause ensures that organizational or contractual interests do not override the needs and well-being of students, thereby promoting a student-centered approach and preventing conflicts that could detract from educational quality.
Students First. The College and Union agree that the Student Workers covered by this Agreement are, first and foremost, students. The advancement of the educational goals of the Student Workers and the efficient operation of the College are the mutual obligations of the parties.
