STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE. The Manager has the overall responsibility of ensuring that he shall be, subject to the policy directions of the Executive Committee of the Municipality, responsible and accountable for administratively being in charge of the Technical Services Office, performing such road and storm water construction and maintenance, electricity installation and maintenance, mainte- ▇▇▇▇▇ of streets, provision of buildings and maintenance, construction of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ lighting, and any other functions as may be delegated to him by the Municipal Manager. In addition to above, he shall be responsible for ensuring that the municipality has and maintains - (i) effective, efficient and transparent systems of financial and risk management and internal control; and (ii) an appropriate supply chain management and provisioning system which is fair, equitable, transparent, competitive and cost-effective.
