Stolen or Damaged Property Clause Samples
The Stolen or Damaged Property clause outlines the responsibilities and procedures in the event that property covered by the agreement is lost, stolen, or damaged. Typically, this clause specifies who bears the risk of loss, the steps required to report incidents, and any obligations for repair, replacement, or compensation. For example, it may require the party in possession of the property to promptly notify the owner and cooperate with insurance claims. Its core function is to allocate risk and clarify liability, ensuring both parties understand their duties and protections if property is compromised during the contract term.
