STEPCHILD. If you are the insured person’s stepchild, we will ask for the following evidence: (1) A signed statement by someone in a position to know—showing when and where you lived with the insured and when and why you may have lived apart. (2) A signed statement by someone in a position to know showing you re- ceived at least one-half of your support from the insured for the one-year pe- riod ending at one of the times men- tioned in paragraph (a) of this section; and the income end support you had in this period from any other source.
