Step Two - Formal. If the matter is not satisfactorily resolved at Step One, the Union may submit the grievance to the applicable Division head within twelve (12) days of receipt of a decision in Step One. The Division head shall meet with the Union within ten (10) days unless there is Agreement of both parties not to meet. The Vice President - Human Resources or designate shall attend this meeting. The Division head shall render their decision within ten (10) days after the matter has been heard, or if a meeting was waived by mutual agreement, the date from which the grievance was received. Extensions to respond at Step Two may be mutually agreed on. The grievor shall be entitled to have a representative of the Union present at any meeting pertaining to their grievance. The Corporation and the Union will cooperate with each other in exchanging relevant information and reasons for their respective positions at this step of the grievance procedure.
