Step I - Informal. A grievance must be reported orally within twenty (20) days after the occurrence giving rise to the dispute to the employee’s immediate supervisor. The date of the informal report shall be noted by the grievant and the immediate supervisor. If in the opinion of both parties a grievance does not exist, no further action is necessary.
