Common use of Step B Clause in Contracts

Step B. The grievance shall be verbally presented by the aggrieved employee and a representative of the employee, if the employee wishes, within thirty (30) calendar days of the occurrence of such grievance, to the employee's immediate supervisor. The immediate supervisor shall gain all relevant facts and shall attempt to adjust the matter and notify the employee in writing with ten (10) workdays. If the grievance is not pursued to the next level within ten (10) workdays, it shall be presumed resolved.
