Statutory     Entitlement Sample Clauses

A Statutory Entitlement clause defines the rights and benefits that parties are entitled to under applicable laws and regulations, regardless of the terms of the contract. In practice, this clause ensures that employees or other parties receive minimum benefits such as leave, notice periods, or compensation as mandated by law, even if the contract provides for less. Its core function is to guarantee that statutory protections cannot be waived or reduced by the contract, thereby ensuring compliance with legal requirements and protecting parties from inadvertently forfeiting their legal rights.
