Status Quo Ante. The state of affairs as it was before. To maintain the status quo ante is to revert to the way things were prior to any change in a term or condition of employment until the matter is resolved. At any time that ―status quo ante‖ is proposed, the invoking party shall define its belief as to that state of affairs.
