Common use of Standing Committees Clause in Contracts

Standing Committees. ‌ The parties agree to establish standing committees. These committees will be charged with dealing with ongoing problems and/or concerns throughout the duration of this Agreement. No committee shall have the power or authority to change any portion of the Collective Bargaining Agreement without approval of the District and the Association membership except as indicated in this Article. Each committee shall develop guidelines and procedures pertaining to its particular duties and membership of the committee.
