Standard Shift Clause Samples

The Standard Shift clause defines the regular working hours or shifts that employees are expected to follow. It typically specifies the start and end times of a workday, the number of hours per shift, and may outline any variations for different roles or departments. By clearly establishing these parameters, the clause ensures both employer and employee have a mutual understanding of work schedules, reducing confusion and helping to manage expectations regarding attendance and overtime.
