Program to reduce impact of septic systems on surface water JRBP operates an incentive program to reduce the impact that septic systems have on surface waters and groundwater. The program provides information and a financial incentive to landowners in the Xxxxx River basin to properly maintain on-site wastewater systems. $40,000 will enable JRBP to provide approximately 440 homeowners with a monetary incentive and related outreach and informational materials to maintain their wastewater systems. b. Riparian corridor protection JRBP has created and implemented a successful Riparian Corridor Protection and Restoration Program in the Xxxxx River watershed. JRBP is focusing on protecting and restoring corridors along Wilsons Creek and Jordan Creek. This action will improve and protect the water quality downstream and into the Xxxxx River arm of Table Rock Lake. $10,000 will enable JRBP to purchase trees and support volunteer planting and protection efforts to provide additional riparian stream protection.
