A. Each plan review shall be identified as a separate task as determined and setup by the City. Tasks shall be LUMP SUM (per Item 1 below) unless otherwise agreed between the City and BHC, in which case they shall be HOURLY (per Item 2 below). B. All plan submittal documents must be submitted to BHC in a complete set including all pertinent engineering calculation, specifications, and engineering details. In addition, all geotechnical reports and data must accompany the complete plan review submittal. All plan review time used in sorting or deciphering incomplete submittal information will be charged as part of the initial review. C. The plan review process, including plan markups, correction letters, resubmittals and final document review approval will be determined by the City and directed accordingly to BHC. D. BHC will review all electronically submitted files and documents using Bluebeam and/or Adobe. All files submitted to BHC must be submitted to the BHC document manager. 1. The Contractor agrees to furnish the service of a licensed professional land surveyor (PLS) and appropriate technical/survey field personnel to provide on-call survey services for the City will determine which plans are to be reviewed as defined by BHCthe Task Assignment Scope of Services.

4. The survey crew shall be LUMP SUM (per Item 1 below) unless otherwise agreed between supervised by a licensed PLS and shall coordinate with Project Manager or Construction Engineer, as required, to ensure all required surveying in the task assignment is performed as requested by the City.
5. All survey drawings, notes, cross sections, and profiles shall be provided in Autodesk “.DWG” format, in accordance with the most recent edition of the City and BHC, in which case they shall be HOURLY (per Item 2 below).
B. All plan submittal documents must be submitted to BHC in a complete set including all pertinent engineering calculation, specifications, and engineering details. In addition, all geotechnical reports and data must accompany the complete plan review submittal. All plan review time used in sorting or deciphering incomplete submittal information will be charged as part of the initial review.
C. The plan review process, including plan markups, correction letters, resubmittals and final document review approval will be determined by the City and directed accordingly to BHC.
D. BHC will review all electronically submitted files and documents using Bluebeam and/or Adobe. All files submitted to BHC must be submitted to the BHC document manager. This is currently ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ “Standards Manual for Civil CAD and Graphics.” Civil 3D AEC objects such as surfaces, ▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇@▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇. All submitted files and documents will shall be logged and tracked delivered in an excel Spreadsheet their native format.
E. 6. The Surveyor shall schedule and meet with the City Engineering Resources Manager prior to beginning any survey work to establish site access, survey Datum, currently Washington State Plane – North Zone – US Survey feet, horizontal control and monumentation, required standards, and electronic delivery method. This meeting is required for each task assignment.
7. PDF file formatted to print full size at 22” x 34” and digitally signed.
8. Other survey deliverables typically include:
a. Point file in “.csv” format that include point #, northing, easting, elevation, and description (PNEZD).
b. Land XML files if Autodesk format was not used to generate the surface.
c. Digital terrain model file (e.g. DTM, DEM, etc.) generated from the assigned work. Service Provider will be expected to provide emergency service at any time to investigate an occurrence which may have liability implications for the City. Such duties shall include the following: • Receive notice of and create files on each claim submitted to Service Provider by the City Attorney’s Office and maintain these files for the City. Each claim file shall be maintained on a current basis to reflect summary of investigation, witness names and addresses, liabilities, exposure, and recommended disposition; • Investigate all claims submitted by the City Attorney’s Office to determine liability and estimated settlement value; • Request timely payments of claims, in accordance with settlement and payment procedures as established by the City Attorney’s Office. The City will determine which plans are be solely responsible for providing payment as may be required for any claims assessed against it; • Prepare documentation and defense of cases, and assist assigned legal counsel in preparation of cases for litigation; and • Maintain and provide the City pertinent data on all claims payments.
