Standard Approval Process. The standard approval process for a Software Title is divided into four phases comprised of Concept disclosure, Pre-Certification, Certification, and Marketing Materials approval. Unless EA elects the EU Approval Option for a European FPU (described below), EA is required to comply at all four phases. Each phase is identified below and further described in the Xbox 2 Guide. In addition, all provisions in the Xbox Live Amendment that apply to Certification and approval processes shall also apply to Software Titles containing Online Features. 5.2.1 Annual Title Map [***]. 5.2.2 Concept. [***]. Following evaluation of EA’s Concept submission, Microsoft will notify EA of whether the Concept is approved or rejected. If approved, the Concept submission form, in the form submitted and approved by Microsoft, is incorporated herein by reference and adherence to its terms is a requirement for Certification.
