Staggered Breaks. When capacity, production or customer service problems occur, operators may be reasonably requested to stagger breaks to allow a machine, line or warehouse to keep producing product and maintain customer service during the traditional break times. Employees work with Stramit to agree to reasonable requests by Stramit for the staggering of taking of breaks for operational reasons.
Staggered Breaks. The right is reserved by the Employer to stagger rest breaks in order to insure continuity of coverage all job functions. However, every effort will be made to insure that employees are not required to work in excess of two hours without a break.

Staggered Breaks. Employees agree to alter work periods during the course of a normal day as required. The trust of this agreement is to maintain production on certain machines through meal breaks when demand is high. Hours allowed to be worked as set down in the agreement will not be exceeded.

  • Rest Breaks Employees shall receive a fifteen (15) minute break during each four (4) hours worked. It is the Employer's intention to provide uninterrupted rest breaks.

  • Minimum Break between Shifts (a) Where it is necessary to work extended overtime, it is agreed that no Employee shall resume or continue to work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty between the termination of the overtime and the commencement of the Employee’s ordinary work on the next day or shift. (b) In the event that an Employee agrees to a request from site management to resume or continue to work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty, the Employee shall be paid at double ordinary time rates until the Employee is released from duty for such period.
