Stable. A medical condition, other than a minor condition, is considered stable if, in the 90 days preceding the insured's scheduled trip departure date, all of the following requirements are met: i) There has been no new diagnosis. ii) The insured has not been prescribed any new treatment. iii) There have been no changes in the type, number and frequency of treatments or termination of treatment. iv) There have been no changes in the type, dosage and frequency of medication, and no recommendations to begin new medication have been received. v) The insured has not experienced any new symptoms or been hospitalized, and no tests have demonstrated a deterioration of the state of health. vi) No medical treatment or consultation has been scheduled, recommended or planned by a physician. vii) The insured is not waiting to undergo medical tests or receive the results of such tests. However, the previously mentioned 90-day period is not applicable if it is proven to the satisfaction of the Assistor that the insured's medical condition was considered stable at the time of departure.
