srmCopy. The current SRM v2.2 specifications do not specify as input parameter of the srmCopy method the source space token and the PinLifeTime of the resulting copy. Please, note that the PinLifetime of the resulting copy cannot be specified since srmPrepareToPut does not allow client to specify it. In order not to change the SRM v2.2 WSDL (this will create major problems with the client tools/applications), in WLCG we decided to use the TExtraInfo structure. In order to pass such parameters, the key names to be used are: • SourceSpaceToken • CopyPinLifetime It is not possible to release copies created by srmCopy based on request ID. It is also not possible to release copies created by srmPrepareToPut/srmPutDone cycle based on request ID.
