Specific relief requested. All grievances shall be signed by the grievant or any officer of the Association when the Association files a grievance. All grievances shall be submitted to the principal within three (3) school days after the informal meeting described in Section 2 above or the occurrence of the event upon which the grievance is based for those matters submitted by the Association. The principal shall give a written answer to the aggrieved teacher or the Association within two (2) school days after receipt of the written grievance. If the answer is mutually satisfactory, the grievant shall so indicate on the grievance form, sign it and return a signed copy to the principal. By mutual agreement of the Superintendent and HCEA Grievance Chairperson, grievances may be initiated at the Second Step (Superintendent level).
