Common use of Specific Commitments Clause in Contracts

Specific Commitments. Investments which have been the subject of a particular undertaking of either Contracting Party to the investors of the other Contracting Party shall be governed, without prejudice to the provisions of this Agreement, the terms of that commitment to the extent that it is more favourable than those of this Agreement. the provisions of article 7 of this Agreement shall apply even where the waiver specific commitment to international arbitration or designating a Court of Arbitration other than that referred to in article 7 of this Agreement.
