Special Purpose Licenses Clause Samples
A Special Purpose Licenses clause defines permissions granted for a specific, limited use of intellectual property or other rights, distinct from general or standard licenses. This clause typically outlines the exact scope, duration, and conditions under which the licensee may use the licensed material, such as for a particular project, event, or geographic region. By clearly delineating these boundaries, the clause ensures that the rights holder retains control over broader uses while enabling the licensee to lawfully engage in the specified activity, thereby preventing unauthorized or unintended exploitation.
Special Purpose Licenses. Versa has no obligation to furnish Support & Maintenance Services of any kind for Software licensed under a Special Purpose License. Versa may provide certain Support & Maintenance Services for Special Purpose Licenses for demonstration, lab & evaluation to the extent described in the Versa SSA or explicitly defined in your MPA.
Special Purpose Licenses. Special Purpose Licenses are limited, short-term licenses that may not be used for any production or commercial application or similar use.
Special Purpose Licenses. If Your license is a Special Purpose License (see Section 6, below), then its term shall be that stated in Your Proof of Entitlement. If You have no Proof of Entitlement or if Your Proof of Entitlement fails to state a license term, then the term of Your license shall be 90 days from date that You first received the Software, whether via download or otherwise.
