Common use of Special Assignment Stipend Clause in Contracts

Special Assignment Stipend. Employees in all classifications/ranks shall receive a stipend to perform one or more special assignments. The stipend shall be paid on a month-to- month basis for the duration of the special assignment and in addition to those which may be paid in accordance with provision 21.21. This provision shall not continue after the expiration of this contract unless the parties agree during successor bargaining to continue this provision.
