Space Preparation Fee. (Florida). Space preparation fees include a nonrecurring charge for Firm Order Processing and monthly recurring charges for Central Office Modifications, assessed per arrangement, per square foot, and Common Systems Modifications, assessed per arrangement, per square foot for cageless and per cage for caged collocation. DSLi shall remit payment of the nonrecurring Firm Order Processing Fee coincident with submission of a Bona Fide Firm Order. The charges recover the costs associated with preparing the Collocation Space, which includes survey, engineering of the Collocation Space, design and modification costs for network, building and support systems. In the event DSLi opts for cageless space, Version 3Q01: 10/22/01 space preparation fees will be assessed based on the total floor space dedicated to DSLi as prescribed in this Section 8.
