Common use of Source Code Clause in Contracts

Source Code. 8.4.2.1 Foreground - Rights of a Party Where, in accordance with Article 9.8.3, a Party has Access Rights to Source Code which is Foreground for Use, Access Rights to such Source Code, as far as Needed for the Use of the Party’s own Foreground, shall comprise a worldwide right to use, to make copies, to modify, to develop, to adapt Source Code for research, to create/market a product/process and to create/provide a service. 8.4.2.1 the Parties shall agree on the terms thereof, with due observance of the interests of the Party granting the Access Rights as set out in Article 9.2 of this Consortium Agreement.
