Solution Trench Clause Samples
The 'Solution Trench' clause defines the requirements and responsibilities related to the excavation, maintenance, and backfilling of trenches used for installing utilities or other infrastructure. It typically outlines standards for trench dimensions, safety measures, and restoration of the site after work is completed. This clause ensures that all parties understand their obligations regarding trench work, thereby promoting safety, minimizing site disruption, and ensuring proper restoration after installation.
Solution Trench. Solution trenches shall be provided around the perimeter of the Ash Dam, which will collect all dirty water run-off generated off the side slopes or anywhere within the ash dam footprint, as well as decant water from the penstocks. Leachate from the collection system will also drain into the solution trenches, which will discharge into the AWRD and AWTD. Clean water diversion trenches will also be required around the perimeter of the Ash Dam adjacent to the solution trenches where necessary. Several road crossings shall be provided at suitable positions around the Ash Dam for construction vehicles to cross over the perimeter trenches. The crossings shall not prevent dirty water runoff from discharging into the solution trenches.
