Solution Objectives. There are two kinds of measurement. The first kind of measurement are extremal values of monitored real number variables such as: train trip delay, Kinetic energy, train availability. The other kind of measurement is whether one train will overun another and collide, or whether two train collide be- cause of an error in the interlocking PLCs. The two kinds may be dependent: one may want to measure availability but only in the case there is no colli- sion.
