Soil Conservation. (a) The 2008 Soil Conservation Standard and supporting 2008 Soil Conservation Guidelines are by this reference incorporated into and adopted as a part of these Regulations. Definitions governing soil conservation are contained in the Soil Standard and Guidelines.

Soil Conservation. 2.1. The Tenant shall apply generally accepted soil conservation techniques to maintain the soil quality of the Leased Premises.
Soil Conservation. On at least 70% of farmed acres, Xxxxxx utilizes one or more of the following practices: ○ Ground is minimally disturbed (strip till, no-till – as defined by the NRCS) ○ Crop rotation has live roots (cash crop, cover crop, perennials) in the soil for at least 70% of the year ○ other regionally appropriate soil conservation practices outlined by the NRCS (e.g. riparian buffers, wind breaks) and approved by the program

  • Conservation Tenant hereby agrees to comply with all energy conservation procedures, controls and requirements instituted by Landlord pursuant to any government regulations or otherwise, including but not limited to controls on the permitted range of temperatures, the volume of energy consumption or the hours of operation of the Building. Institution by Landlord of such controls and requirements shall not entitle Tenant to terminate this Lease or to an abatement of any Rent payable hereunder.

  • Energy Conservation The Contractor agrees to comply with mandatory standards and policies relating to energy efficiency which are contained in the state energy conservation plan issued in compliance with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act.

  • Groundwater The groundwater shall not be degraded as a result of the waste maintained at the facility.

  • Wildlife Do not feed any of the wildlife ever. Animals of any size are potentially dangerous. Feeding even small animals attracts predators. Supervise children at all times. Keep garage doors closed at all times except when entering or leaving the Rental Home.

  • Wetlands When disposing of excess, soil, or other construction materials on public or private property, Contractor shall not fill in or otherwise convert wetlands.

  • Environmental, Health and Safety Matters Except as set forth on Schedule 4.20:

  • Clean Air Act A. The contractor agrees to comply with all applicable standards, orders, or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act, as amended, 42 U.S.C. Section 7401 et seq.

  • CLEAN AIR AND WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT Customer Purchase Orders using federal funds must contain a provision that requires the Contractor to agree to comply with all applicable standards, orders or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387). Violations must be reported to the Federal awarding agency and the Regional Office of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Pursuant to the Federal Rule above, Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with all applicable provisions of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. 7401-7671q) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251-1387) and will remain in compliance during the term of the Contract.

  • Environmental and Safety Matters Except as would not have a Material Adverse Effect:

  • Surface  Grade and shape the road surface, turnouts, and shoulders to the original shape on the TYPICAL SECTION SHEET. Inslope or outslope as directed to provide a smooth, rut-free traveled surface and maintain surface water runoff in an even, unconcentrated manner.  Blading shall not undercut the backslope or cut into geotextile fabric on the road.  If required by the Contract Administrator, water shall be applied as necessary to control dust and retain fine surface rock.  Surface material shall not be bladed off the roadway. Replace surface material when lost or worn away, or as directed by the Contract Administrator.  Remove shoulder berms, created by grading, to facilitate drainage, except as marked or directed by the Contract Administrator.  For roads with geotextile fabric: spread surface aggregate to fill in soft spots and wheel ruts (barrel spread) to prevent damage to the geotextile fabric.
