Software Maintenance Fee. Next 1 shall pay an annual Software maintenance fee of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000). This fee shall be paid at the beginning of the maintenance period, which begins when the purchase price is paid. The annual payment shall be prorated and made in monthly installments. If the functionality of the software significantly changes, the software maintenance fee shall be adjusted proportionally.
